Round Robin results for 8/31/2011: We had a great turnout of 24 for the RR, so we broke up into 4 groups of 6. Welcome new ATTC players; George Yang, Ben Johnson and Charlie Hunt.

Group 1: Everybody beat up on each other and not all matches were able to be played as Tom Spesick wins the group going 3-2.

Group 2: In a rare Table 2 appearance, John Hanna only drops 1 game to win the group 5-0 to get the win and return to Table 1.

Group 3: Ricky Pisanu Hardbats his way through the group to go 5-0 and get the win.

Group 4: Chuck Feyh goes 5-0 to sweep the group.

Round Robin results for 8/24/2011: Welcome back from his world tour, Ricky Pisanu! In his first Round Robin in a couple of months, he picks up a cool 62 rating points! We had a good turnout of 17 players, with groups of 6,6 & 5.

Group 1: Sam Seo dishes out some punishment and goes 5-0 to win the group!

Group 2: Tom Spesick sweeps the group 5-0 to get the win and get back to Table 1.

Group 3: Mike Martin completes the night of sweeps and wins the group 4-0.

Sacramento TT Tournament – This past Saturday, August 20, 2011. It was great to see so many ATTC players! We had a good showing with Matthew Blom winning the U-1325 and the U-1575 events and Dave Ganguly finishing second in the U-1825! Great Job!

Hello Auburn Table Tennis Players –

Round Robin results for 8/17/2011: Welcome New ATTC Players; Satish Krishnamoorthy and Miguel Cruz. After Miguel was surprised to discover our club, he jumped right in and joined the Round Robin and also played some doubles afterward. Glad you both found us!

Group 1: Satish Krishnamoorthy makes a strong ATTC debut, winning Group 1 by going 3-1, with only Anson Kwong being able to stop him 3-2.

Group 2: The group plays out in order of seeding with Matthew Blom getting by Grant Connell deuce in the 5^th to sweep the group 4-0 and get the win!

Group 3: Kirk Gipson only drops a single game on his way to winning the group 4-0.

Round Robin results for 8/10/2011: A good turnout of 19, which made for 3 large groups of 6, 6 & 7. Lots of play for everyone!

Group 1: A strong top group sees Sergey Tsvor go 4-1 to get the group win.

Group 2: Tom Spesick sweeps the group 5-0 get the win!

Group 3: Upsets all around as Mike Martin goes 4-1 to get the win.

Trends – It’s very early in our second half of 2011, but already some impressive numbers are being shown. Kristopher Han in only four appearances has a ridiculous rating increase of +259 to lead the way for Most Improved!

In the Best Record category, Sergey Tsvor is out in front with a crazy winning percentage of 90.9% with Sam Seo close behind at 84%! Check out all of the standings on our website in the Trends area.

Group 1: Sam Seo and Sergey Tsvor both go 3-0, but run out of time to play each other, so no clear group winner.

Group 2: Dave Ganguly showing tournament ready form goes 4-0 to get the group win!

Group 3: Sean Ziyalan sweeps the group to go 3-0.

Group 4: Kristopher Han, the number 4 seed, goes 3-0 to win the group and picks up 59 rating points!
